The Galaxy Note 3 is better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting an 81.2 score against 73.7. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version while Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy Note 3 is an older device than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but it's lighter and a little bit thinner anyway.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a slightly better display than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a little bigger display. The Galaxy Note 3 has slightly more memory for applications and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note 3 features a CPU that's just as good as Xperia XA1 Plus's processing unit, because although the Galaxy Note 3 has a lower number of cores, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Xperia XA1 Plus counts with just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.

Xperia XA1 Plus takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia XA1 Plus also has a way bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 3 is also a bargain compared to others, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
