The Galaxy Note4 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting a global score of 77.6 against 73.7. Galaxy Note4's construction is a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, even though it was released many years before. Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note4. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM amount.

Galaxy Note4 has a little more vivid display than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a greater amount of pixels per display inch, a bit larger screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note4, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XA1 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB.

Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note4, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy Note4 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, a lot lower 16 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
