Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is a little bit better than Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a lot older than the Xperia XA1 Plus, it's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a better 1440 x 2560px resolution, a quite larger display and more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Xperia XA1 Plus features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note5, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xperia XA1 Plus has a bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note5, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB.

The Xperia XA1 Plus features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy Note5 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a camera with way less MP and a tinier sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and video and a much higher (4K) video definition.
