Galaxy Note7 has a global score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 overall score. The Galaxy Note7 body is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, although it was released around a year before. Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
Galaxy Note7 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a little bigger display, a better pixel amount per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Xperia XA1 Plus takes slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XA1 Plus also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 also has more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 features a battery life that is very similar to Xperia XA1 Plus's battery performance, although the Samsung Galaxy Note7 also has a 3500mAh battery size against 3430mAh.
