Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 79, which is a bit better than Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 score. Even though Galaxy S4 is notably older than Xperia XA1 Plus, it's design is a little thinner and lighter. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy S4 has the older 4.4 version and Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Xperia XA1 Plus has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a better display than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a bit higher amount of pixels in each inch of screen.

Galaxy S4 counts with a little bit better memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
