Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than the Xperia XA1 Plus, having a global score of 80.8 against 73.7. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S5 is extremely older than the Xperia XA1 Plus, it's body is a little bit thinner and lighter. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version while Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Galaxy S5 counts with a sharper screen than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a higher pixel amount in each inch of screen. Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster CPU than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

Xperia XA1 Plus features a little bit better storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia XA1 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus counts with improved battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots clearer videos and photos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs in low light situations, a smaller back camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs and a lot less megapixels camera in the back, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.

The Galaxy S5 costs a little more money than Xperia XA1 Plus, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
