Comparison review

Galaxy S7 edge has a global score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's overall score of 73.7. Both phones in this comparison use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide all the same operating system features. The Galaxy S7 edge is an older cellphone than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat lighter and thinner anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia XA1 Plus counts with just a bit more memory for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XA1 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy S7 edge counts with a camera that's just as good as the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus one, because although the Galaxy S7 edge has a tinier back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures and a camera with a lot worse 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality and a larger camera aperture for better photos in poorly lited situations.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a little better battery performance than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy S7 edge not only is the best devices of the ones in this comparison, but it's also cheaper than the Xperia XA1 Plus.
