The Xperia 1 II is way better than the Xperia XA1 Plus, having a 91 score against 73.7. Xperia 1 II's construction is noticeably newer, just a little lighter and a little thinner than Xperia XA1 Plus. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia 1 II has the older 11 version and Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Xperia 1 II counts with a bit better performance than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 II has a much better screen than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a bigger screen, a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a way greater display pixels density.

Xperia 1 II features a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 224 GB more internal memory and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse resolution, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality photographs and a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video.

The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with just a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
