Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a general score of 79, which is a little bit better than Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 general score. Even though Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact and the Xperia XA1 Plus were released only 7 months apart, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's construction is notably thicker but somewhat lighter. Both phones in this comparison review use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (operating system).
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit superior processor than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a higher amount of RAM. Xperia XZ2 Compact captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a lesser megapixels resolution camera, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same camera aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
