Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's overall score of 73.7. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer device than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but it is somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better processing power than Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 3 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution, a little bit bigger screen and much more pixels per inch of screen. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures clearer pictures and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a camera with less MP, and they both have a 0.43 inches camera sensor, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a larger camera aperture.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a 3540mAh battery size instead of 3430mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia XA1 Plus. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xperia XA1 Plus, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
