The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is slightly better than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting a 77.7 score against 73.7. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a lighter and somewhat thinner phone than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a way lower 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality photos and videos, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments and a much better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with more memory for apps and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xperia XA1 Plus features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
