The Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is much better than Xperia XA1 Ultra's overall score of 72.8. The Galaxy S5 is a notably lighter device than the Xperia XA1 Ultra, but both of them are equally thin. Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better performance than Xperia XA1 Ultra, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much better looking display than Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a much higher screen density. Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra features a slightly bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XA1 Ultra, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a superior camera than Xperia XA1 Ultra, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos, a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality and a lot lower 16 MP resolution back facing camera.
