Comparison review
OnePlus 9 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1, having a global score of 76 against 71.7. OnePlus 9's construction is newer, but a little bit thicker and extremely heavier than the Sony Xperia XA1. OnePlus 9 features a more vivid screen than Xperia XA1, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a larger display.
OnePlus 9 counts with more memory for games and applications than Xperia XA1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 9 counts with a bit faster processor than Xperia XA1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 9 has a much longer battery performance than Xperia XA1, because it has a 4500mAh battery size. OnePlus 9 has a way better camera than Xperia XA1, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution, a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments, a much bigger sensor shooting much higher quality photos and videos and a way better 7680x4320 video quality.
Although OnePlus 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XA1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy OnePlus 9, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia XA1, giving up some specs and features.
