The Samsung Galaxy A6 is slightly better than the Xperia XA1, getting a global score of 75.8 against 71.7. The Samsung Galaxy A6 design is newer and a little thinner, but somewhat heavier than Xperia XA1. The Xperia XA1 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A6, although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 720 x 1280px, they both have the same display density.

The Galaxy A6 features a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy A6 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XA1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A6. Both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory.

The Xperia XA1 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A6, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xperia XA1 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs and a camera with a way higher resolution.
