Samsung Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1, with a overall score of 76.7 against 71.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy J8 is newer than the Sony Xperia XA1, it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia XA1 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

Sony Xperia XA1 counts with just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse 720 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy J8 features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA1, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 256 GB, the Galaxy J8 also has 32 GB more internal memory.
