Asus ROG Phone 8 has a general score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Xperia XA2 Plus's score of 78.6. The Asus ROG Phone 8 design is much newer and a bit thinner than Xperia XA2 Plus's, but it is also a bit heavier. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has older 14 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia XA2 Plus counts with an extremely better CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 6 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a more vivid screen than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixel count in each display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a much brighter display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a lot better camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels, a much better 7680x4320 video quality, a bigger camera aperture for better images and video in low-light environments and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has more memory for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 54 percent greater battery capacity.
