Huawei Mate X is much better than Xperia XA2 Plus, with a global score of 89.4 against 78.6. Even though the Huawei Mate X is newer than the Xperia XA2 Plus, it is extremely heavier and thicker. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo, giving you a lot of extra features.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a lot smaller display.
