The Huawei Mate X2 is much better than the Xperia XA2 Plus, getting an 89.1 score against 78.6. The Huawei Mate X2 body is notably newer and thinner than Xperia XA2 Plus's, but it's also noticeably heavier. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a really smaller display, a just a little worse count of pixels per screen inch and a way worse 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. Huawei Mate X2 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei Mate X2 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a bigger aperture and a camera with a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution.
The Huawei Mate X2 features improved battery lifetime than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 26 percent larger battery size.
