Comparison review
Huawei P40 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, having an 86.4 score against 78.6. Huawei P40's construction is newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit better looking display than Huawei P40, although it has a just a little worse pixel density, a bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little bit smaller display. Huawei P40 features a little faster CPU than Xperia XA2 Plus. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
Xperia XA2 Plus has more memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Huawei P40 features a bit better battery duration than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 3800mAh battery size instead of 3580mAh.
The Huawei P40 features a superior camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has a camera with lot more megapixels, higher 60 fps video frame rates, a lot bigger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality and a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations.
