Comparison review

The LG V40 ThinQ has a score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's global score of 78.6. These phones come with Android operating system, but the LG V40 ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although LG V40 ThinQ and the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus were released only 2 months apart, LG V40 ThinQ is lighter and noticeably thinner.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a little sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a greater pixel number per screen inch, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a quite larger screen. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. Both have 8 CPU cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a way smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a back facing camera with way more megapixels and a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has just a bit better battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity.
