Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a general score of 78.6, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 score. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a noticeably older, heavier and somewhat thicker device than the Motorola Edge (2024). These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.
Xperia XA2 Plus features a much greater hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a little sharper display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little larger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and much more brightness.
Motorola Edge (2024) features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Motorola Edge (2024) has a really longer battery performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 40 percent larger battery capacity.
Xperia XA2 Plus shoots clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lot less MP resolution back facing camera, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited situations, a way smaller sensor offering a lot worse image quality and a lower video definition.
