Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a bit better than Moto G8 Power, with a global score of 78.6 against 76. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's body has the same thickness than Moto G8 Power, but it is a little heavier.

Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a larger amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels density.

Xperia XA2 Plus captures slightly better photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a back facing camera with a much higher 23 mega-pixels resolution.

Moto G8 Power counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto G8 Power also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power counts with a very superior battery life than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 40% larger battery capacity.
