Moto G84 is a bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, getting a general score of 80.9 against 78.6. Moto G84's body is newer, noticeably lighter and way thinner than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. These phones come with Android operating system, but Moto G84 has the previous 13 version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much greater performance than Motorola Moto G84, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Moto G84 counts with a little more vivid display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a little bit more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger display, a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a way brighter display.

The Moto G84 has a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3580mAh.
