The Xperia XA2 Plus construction is newer than Moto Z2 Play's, although it is thicker and noticeably heavier. The Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit better hardware performance than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a just a bit more pixels per display inch, a slightly better 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little bit larger display.
