Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a global score of 78.6, which is just a bit better than the Nokia 7.2's global score of 75.9. Although Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a better cellphone than the Nokia 7.2, we must note that it is also older, thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Nokia 7.2 has Android 10 version.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit sharper screen than Nokia 7.2, although it has a quite smaller display, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a little worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Nokia 7.2 features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Nokia 7.2 and Xperia XA2 Plus both have similar processing units, both have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit longer battery performance than Nokia 7.2, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh. Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Nokia 7.2, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos and a smaller camera sensor offering a worse image quality, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
