Comparison review

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, having a general score of 78.6 against 76.2. Although it's the best phone in this comparison, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14.

Galaxy A16 5G has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, way more display brightness and a quite bigger display. Xperia XA2 Plus features a much more powerful CPU than Galaxy A16 5G, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM.

Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A16 5G, although it has a much worse resolution camera in the back and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking photos and videos in poorly lited situations. The Galaxy A16 5G has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3580mAh.
