Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has an overall score of 78.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A21's 76.1 global score. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy A21 has Android 10, so it provides the user a couple additional features. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is an older, a little heavier and thicker cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy A21.
The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a sharper display than Galaxy A21, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a greater storage to install games and applications than Galaxy A21, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A21, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video definition, a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
Galaxy A21 features a bit superior battery life than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
