The Galaxy A30 has a score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 overall score. Galaxy A30's design is way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, even though both of them were only released 6 months apart. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a little sharper display than Galaxy A30, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite worse display pixel density and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px. Xperia XA2 Plus takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A30, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 counts with just a bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A30 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A30 features a bit better battery performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 12% greater battery size.
