The Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is better than the Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 score. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy A42's body is notably newer, a bit lighter and thinner than Xperia XA2 Plus.
