The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, with a overall score of 78.6 against 76.3. Even being the best in this review, Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's body is thicker and a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both phones we compare here have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, counting with some extra features.
Galaxy Alpha features just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has 4 GB less RAM and 4 less cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2160, a better number of pixels per display inch and a bigger display.
The Xperia XA2 Plus has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a way more MP camera in the back and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
