Samsung Galaxy M30 is a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Plus, getting an 82.4 score against 78.6. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M30 has 9.0 Pie version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version, counting with some nice extra features and better performance. Samsung Galaxy M30's design is thinner and somewhat lighter than Xperia XA2 Plus, although both were released with only a few months difference.

The Xperia XA2 Plus takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
