Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Plus, with a overall score of 81.6 against 78.6. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a lot older than the Xperia XA2 Plus, it's design is thinner and lighter. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has an older 5.0 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser cpu cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
Xperia XA2 Plus captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a much higher 23 megapixels resolution back camera, a larger camera aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 4, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.
