Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's overall score of 78.6. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note5 is noticeably older than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, it's design is lighter and much thinner. The Galaxy Note5 features a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixel density.

Xperia XA2 Plus has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM.

Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a much more megapixels back-facing camera.

Xperia XA2 Plus has greater battery life than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 19% more battery capacity.
