Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's global score of 78.6. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo, offering some nice extra features and better performance. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note8 is older than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, it's body is a bit lighter and somewhat thinner.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit better processor than Xperia XA2 Plus. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a little bigger display, a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater pixels density.

The Xperia XA2 Plus counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a way higher 23 mega pixels resolution camera and a bigger camera sensor.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 400 GB. The Xperia XA2 Plus has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity.
