Comparison review

The Galaxy S8 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, with a score of 81.7 against 78.6. The Galaxy S8 is an older cellphone than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, but Samsung managed to build it a lot lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The Galaxy S8's processing unit is just as good as Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's processor, and although the Galaxy S8 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

Galaxy S8 has a little sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and more pixels per inch in the display. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking images and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs and a camera with a lot higher resolution.

The Xperia XA2 Plus features a slightly bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 400 GB. The Xperia XA2 Plus features longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 3580mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
