Sony Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's overall score of 78.6. Sony Xperia 5 II's design is incredibly newer, somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a bit superior CPU than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a little more vivid screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a just a little worse amount of pixels per inch of screen, a little bit smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 2160 resolution. Xperia 5 II counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1000 GB.

Sony Xperia 5 II takes a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot lower resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality.

Sony Xperia 5 II has just a bit longer battery life than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
