Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Xperia XA2 Plus's global score of 78.6. The Xperia Z5 Premium is an incredibly older phone than Xperia XA2 Plus, but it is somewhat lighter and thinner anyway. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a little better processing power than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics processor. Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a way better pixels quantity per inch in the screen.
Xperia Z5 Premium captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 23 mega-pixels, the same 3840x2160 video definition, a same size sensor and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Xperia XA2 Plus has a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.
