The LG G8 ThinQ is much better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, having an 84.3 score against 75.5. LG G8 ThinQ's body is newer, somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra. The LG G8 ThinQ has a bit faster processor than Xperia XA2 Ultra, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a sharper screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, because it has much more pixels per display inch, a quite brighter display, a little bit larger display and a much better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Ultra, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage.

Xperia XA2 Ultra features a bit better battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 3580mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh. The Xperia XA2 Ultra has a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
