Comparison review

The LG Q8 has a general score of 77.2, which is a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Ultra's general score of 75.5. The LG Q8 construction is somewhat thinner and much lighter than the Xperia XA2 Ultra, even though both were released with only 7 months difference. The LG Q8 has a brighter display than Xperia XA2 Ultra, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same display brightness, the LG Q8 also counts with a lot greater amount of pixels per display inch and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.

LG Q8 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XA2 Ultra, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG Q8 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xperia XA2 Ultra has just a bit better performance than LG Q8, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also has a larger number of cores (and they are faster).

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra features a bit better camera than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and a lot higher resolution camera in the back.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra has better battery life than LG Q8, because it has a 3580mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
