The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, having a 77.4 score against 75.5. Even though the Motorola Moto Z2 Play and the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra were only released with a couple months difference, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play is way thinner and noticeably lighter. Moto Z2 Play and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra have incredibly similar processors, they have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount.
The Xperia XA2 Ultra has a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little bit lower pixel density, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a quite bigger display. Moto Z2 Play counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XA2 Ultra, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra features better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 19% greater battery capacity. Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra features a much better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing photos or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.
