Moto Z3 is slightly better than Xperia XA2 Ultra, getting a 77.6 score against 75.5. Although Moto Z3 and Xperia XA2 Ultra were only released with a couple of months difference, Moto Z3 is much thinner and much lighter. The Xperia XA2 Ultra has a little more vivid screen than Moto Z3, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a bit less pixels per inch in the display, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Moto Z3 features a bit faster CPU than Xperia XA2 Ultra. Both have 8 processing cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Xperia XA2 Ultra shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also has a much better resolution back camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Moto Z3 features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia XA2 Ultra has superior battery life than Moto Z3, because it has a 3580mAh battery size.
