Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a score of 80.4, which is a little bit better than Xperia XA2 Ultra's 75.5 global score. Even when Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition and Xperia XA2 Ultra were released with only a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features just a little better performance than Xperia XA2 Ultra. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little bit better display than Xperia XA2 Ultra, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Xperia XA2 Ultra captures a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a camera in the back with much more MP and a bigger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia XA2 Ultra, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has 64 GB internal storage. The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra features a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 12% greater battery capacity.
