The LG Q8 is slightly better than the Xperia XA2, with a 77.2 score against 74.8. Although the LG Q8 and the Xperia XA2 were only released 7 months apart, the LG Q8 is lighter and thinner. The Sony Xperia XA2 counts with just a little better processing power than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores.

The LG Q8 counts with a slightly better looking display than Xperia XA2, and although they both have the same brightness and a same size screen, the LG Q8 also has a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater screen density. The LG Q8 features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia XA2, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The Xperia XA2 features just a bit better camera than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, the Xperia XA2 also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a back camera with lot more megapixels.

The Sony Xperia XA2 features just a little better battery life than LG Q8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
