LG V40 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XA2, with a score of 81.2 against 74.8. LG V40 ThinQ is a a little lighter and much thinner phone than Sony Xperia XA2, even though both were only released with a couple of months difference. The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XA2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 3 GB more RAM.
LG V40 ThinQ has a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a bigger display, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a better display density. Xperia XA2 has a slightly better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a way smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and video, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xperia XA2 also counts with a larger back camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a way higher 23 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
LG V40 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal memory. LG V40 ThinQ and Xperia XA2 both have similar battery performance.
