Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is better than the Xperia XA2, having a general score of 87 against 74.8. Galaxy A42's construction is incredibly newer and thinner, but also heavier than the Xperia XA2. Galaxy A42 features a processing unit that's very similar to the Sony Xperia XA2 one, and although the Galaxy A42 has 1 GB more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XA2 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy A42 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia XA2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy A42 also has a bigger aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited environments and a much more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy A42 features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XA2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 96 GB more internal memory. Galaxy A42 has a superior battery performance than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a 52 percent bigger battery size.
