Galaxy J8 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XA2, having a overall score of 76.7 against 74.8. The Galaxy J8 body is just a little heavier but thinner than Sony Xperia XA2, and they were only released 4 months apart. Sony Xperia XA2 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy J8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores.

Xperia XA2 has a better looking display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display density and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Xperia XA2 shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way better (4K) video resolution, a larger camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
