The Galaxy Note7 has a general score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Xperia XA2's 74.8 global score. The Galaxy Note7 is an older phone than Xperia XA2, but Samsung could make it just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner. Sony Xperia XA2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note7, although it has a quite worse amount of pixels per inch of display, a way lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little smaller display.
The Galaxy Note7 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XA2, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy Note7 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Xperia XA2 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with 4 more processing cores.
The Galaxy Note7 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. Sony Xperia XA2 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XA2 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
