Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 is slightly better than the Xperia XA2, with an 81.7 score against 74.8. Even though Samsung Galaxy S8 is older than the Xperia XA2, it's construction is just a little lighter and somewhat thinner. Galaxy S8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XA2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy S8 has a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a higher pixels count in each inch of display, a way better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a bit bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has more internal storage.

Xperia XA2 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. The Sony Xperia XA2 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XA2 also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
