Comparison review
Xperia 5 III is a lot better than Sony Xperia XA2, having a global score of 90.5 against 74.8. Xperia 5 III is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Sony Xperia XA2. The Xperia XA2 has a bit sharper display than Xperia 5 III, although it has a bit smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per inch of display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XA2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia 5 III has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage.
The Sony Xperia 5 III has superior battery lifetime than Xperia XA2, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. The Sony Xperia 5 III shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XA2, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a bigger aperture to capture better images and video in poorly lited situations.
