Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 has an overall score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XA2's 74.8 global score. Although Sony Xperia Z5 is much older than the Sony Xperia XA2, it's design is a little lighter and thinner. Xperia Z5 features a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, a same size screen and the same screen pixel density.
The Sony Xperia XA2 has a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XA2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB. Xperia Z5 features a little better hardware performance than Xperia XA2, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Xperia Z5 also has an extra graphics processing unit.
The Xperia Z5 has a bit better camera than Xperia XA2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size back camera sensor, the same (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a 23 MP, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger aperture. Sony Xperia XA2 counts with just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 2900mAh.
